The HR Concierge Service is available to any college, division, or department on a full-time, part-time, or ad hoc basis.

Standard transactional services include but are not limited to:

  • Initiate PA Actions (postings, hiring proposals, job description changes, abolish positions, create new positions, and salary actions)
  • Initiate JAR Actions (new hires, job and pay changes)
  • Provide support for recruitment logistics, dispositioning of candidates, etc.
  • Processing large batch HR actions

Program Funding Model

First 6-MonthsAfter 6-Month Pilot
UHR will fully fund the position during the six-month pilot phase.After the pilot, full opt-in will involve a cost-share of the position’s salary and benefits, with the college/division funding the FTE percentage required for their transactions.

This Sounds Great. How Do We Get Started?

Getting started is easy. Please contact Bernadette Clarke (HR Service Center Manager, brclarke@ncsu.edu) or Margaret Erickson (Assistant Vice Chancellor, Total Rewards, meericks@ncsu.edu) to schedule an orientation. During this meeting, we’ll discuss your HR needs, build a service portfolio, and finalize your pilot program with a tailored MOU.

During your pilot, your HR Concierge Coordinator will provide monthly reports on transactional work and service level metrics. After the pilot period, if you’re ready to fully opt-in, we’ll arrange a meeting to review FTE utilization and cost-share details.
