NCFlex Health Care Flexible Spending Account

The NCFlex Health Care Flexible Spending Account, administered by P&A Group, allows employees to set aside a portion of their pay pretax to use for medical, dental, and vision expenses that are not covered by insurance, or only partially covered. Faculty and staff (non-temp) who work 20 hours per week (.5 FTE) or greater are eligible to enroll in a flexible spending account.

Employees must enroll within 30 days of their hire/start date.

Start of Coverage

Coverage begins the first of the month following your hire/start date.

Enrollment is done through the NCFlex online enrollment system, via MyPack portal. Visit HRNow for detailed enrollment instructions.

Faculty and Staff can save money on taxes by paying for eligible out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision, or other qualifying expenses for themselves and their eligible dependents (as defined by the IRS) with pre-tax dollars.
