Portfolio and Project Management
HR PMO is a centralized function that defines and maintains standards for project and program delivery in support of the HR function within the University HR Division. It manages the HR portfolio, establishes processes and provides oversight to ensure strategic alignment and consistency in delivery practices.
Project: A temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result. It has a defined scope, timeline, and objectives, and is executed to achieve specific business goals
Portfolio: A collection of projects, programs, and initiatives that are managed collectively to align with strategic objectives. A portfolio ensures that resources are allocated effectively and that projects contribute to overarching strategic goals of the University and University Human Resources
