African American Heritage Commission Celebrates Black Authors

Black History Month Read In

The North Carolina African American Heritage Commission is celebrating Black authors from North Carolina during its annual Black History Month Read-In.

The commission is featuring the authors on its YouTube channel. The videos include an interview with the authors and an excerpt from one of their books. To see the authors interviewed so far, visit the YouTube channel.

Eleanora E. Tate, author of A Blessing in Disguise, and Kelly Starling Lyons, author of Dream Builder: The Story of Architect Philip Freelon, will be featured on the YouTube channel on Feb. 24 and 26, respectively.
