Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less

NC State employees can participate in a 15-week online weight management program — Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less — that uses proven weight-loss strategies to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.

The program teaches participants about eating healthy and participating in physical activity, and it empowers and motivates them to do both. The next series of classes will begin the second week of August. Lunchtime and evening classes are available.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina members, including State Health Plan members, can participate in the program for free. Each of the program’s 15 sessions is covered at 100% as a telehealth group nutritional counseling visit. To participate in the program at no cost, complete this registration form and be sure to enter the following information on the form:

  • Coupon/voucher code GNC2023
  • Your Blue Cross and Blue Shield subscriber ID number.

Nonmembers of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina can participate in the program by completing the registration form and paying a $235 general enrollment fee.
