State Employee Recognition Week Is Sept. 27-Oct. 2

Thanks WolfPack

NC State will honor its employees next week as part of a statewide effort to recognize state employees.

The governor has designated Sept. 27 to Oct. 2 as State Employee Recognition Week and Sept. 30 as State Employee Appreciation Day.

On Sept. 30, NC State will send employees a special video message from Chancellor Randy Woodson and members of his cabinet. In recognition of the week, University Human Resources has scheduled a series of virtual events for employees.

“I am immensely proud of our employees and all they have accomplished while facing a myriad of challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic the past six months,” said Marie Williams, associate vice chancellor for Human Resources. “They deserve a week of recognition and so much more.”
